|||| The "Quaderno" Mathias Jose Maestro [1766-1835]

2015 is the 20th year since "Crane HomePage" started.
I'd like to express my gratitude for all of you visiting this Website.Taking this opportunity, here I'm presenting not only rare but splendid music scores.
I scanned these images of scores, which Mathias Jose Maestro [1766-1835] wrote in 1786. He was born in Spain, an architect/essayist, and migrated to Peru when he was about 20 years old. Later, Mr. Javier Echecopar Mongilardi, born in Peru and a guitarist based in Paris, analyzed the scores, and released his performance based on his own interpretation. He owned the score-book for a certain period, and I took it over in February 2005. It contains about 20 tunes including part scores for great musics and scale-practicing scores.
Soon I noticed its value. So, I introduced some of them in our website "Crane", but we didn't get much response. It is regretful if you cannot encounter great music.
This time, we upload all the pages(the whole scores) in our website. We're really happy if these masterpieces would be added to your repertoire. We also publish annotation about the original scores and newly arranged scores, both by Ms. Kei Inoue, a Japanese musician/guitarist. She added her own interpretation and modernized scores for easier reading. I really thank her for the great effort , so that we can release this treasure to the public. I hope you enjoy the music!
